South - Food at phillip's seafood restaurant?

has anyone eaten at phillip's seafood restaurant in CLT? would love to hear from you if you have and what you think. Have a few hours to kill between flights.

Never eaten at the one in CLT, but I have eaten in the original.

From what I remember of CLT, it would be the best restaurant there. Of course, I usually end up at the wine bar....:D

Last time I was there just some cheese.

You can bring in food from other places if you want.

The bar specializes in NC wines. Some are pretty good.

if phillips is best available at clt, the food at clt must be pretty bad. i have eaten in the phillips in baltimore, dc, and ocean city. once in each over 40 years. it is a chain, and uniformly pathetic.
