Not a hotel but really nice is the Alexander Lakeside B&B (http://www.herveybaybedandbreakfast.com.au/).
We really liked the Lakeview Room, excellent breakfasts, wonderful ambience on a small lake.

My cousins are suggesting the following : Allegra and Pier One due to location and accommodations, as Akama (but a little further away from them). This is tough!
