I don't usually check tirpadvisor.com for reviews. I perfer to use FT because I trust and respect the insights of members here vs. those of the posters on tripadvisor.

I have stayed at a few Hawthorn Suites, but its been many years ago before they became part of the Wyndham family.

I have stayed at this hotel and it is very comfortable! A little townhouse community. Each unit has a kitchen and is very much like staying in a furnished apartment. Hotel offers complimentary buffet breakfast adn dinner each evening too. I found it to be much better than a hotel especially if you are staying for an extended time. There is a Wendys and a gas station with a full mini mart and coffee hut right next door too. I hope this helps!

I had a very comfortable 3 night stay at this Hawthorn Suites last week.

Lobby / Check-in:
Layout of this property is apartment style with numerous bldgs. with 8 suites each. The front desk is located in a seperate clubhouse. I checked in late so there was not wait and procceded quickly to my room. The breakfast / dinner area is to the right of the front desk and there is also a patio with grill. They offer A Pantry for snacks, ect. A computer is offered in the front lobby as well which I assume serves as the business center. Credit cards are required for usage of the computer, however flight check-in is free.

Room:
Large suite is basically one room, but spacious. The living area is seperated from the sleeping area by a large dresser with a TV (old style) which swivels for viewing in both rooms. Living area has coffee table, love seat, breakfast table with two chairs (which I used for desk), and wood burning fireplace. Sleeping area was a comfortable queen size bed with two end tables and closet. Kitchen is galley style with full size refrig, microwave, oven/stove, sink, and diswasher. Utensils and dishes are provided. Bathroom was large with a huge amount of counter space - 1 sink.

Free hot breakfast: eggs, sausage, potatos, bacon (both mornings)
Free dinner: beef stew with mashed potatos (1 night) and mac-n-chees with greenbeans (2nd night). Dinner also includes free beer and/or wine.

Downtown Seattle is about 20 miles north
