Anyone know how to get a measly 5 HHonors points quick?

AmEx MR points, but you'll get 995 more than you need.

Unfortunately, AMEX Zync is MR Express... So no miles transfers for me... :(

Call up the HHhonors customer service line and ask for it. They credited me about 750 points when I needed it without any effort.

sign up for the dining rewards program. Just spend $1 dollar and you will have 8 points. They post pretty fast.

Shortly after making Diamond I called to book an award stay and told the CSR how nice it was finally making diamond (this was a couple of months ago) and told her that it was my first call to Hilton since becoming a Diamond. Just to make me feel special, she gave me 3K points - she said "because I can."

I'm guessing 5 points should be no problem. Besides - it doesn't hurt to ask! Maybe several times after hanging up and trying again.

call hh & they will give it to you....i was 10k points short for an award stay recently & they advanced me the points right away....once i had earned the 10k points in the future then they took it back....

I once had a CSR credit me with 3K points because he couldn't sign me up for a particular promotion.

Add that with all the other comments here and it seems they may just give them to you for asking...
