Does anyone know if Bose noise-canceling headphones are sold at any duty free shop in O'Hare?

I've read that the duty free offerings are rather meager at this airport, so just thought I'd check.

Thanks very much for any information!

!

They are meager and I don't recall seeing Bose but that may or may not mean much. However, I am not sure if you can use any shop: Duty free purchases are delivered to you after security, so you can only use those in the terminal you are departing form.

Thanks very much for the reply. I will be flying out of the international terminal (5?), but it sounds iffy to find my Bose headphones there... unless anyone else has more info.

Thank you kindly!

I dont think I have ever seen Bose at any Duty Free shop in the US or otherwise. US is a pretty bad place for duty free shopping typically and electronic items are even more rare in duty free.

I have used that terminal a lot and never seen any Bose.

Thanks, mcgahat. That's not the answer I was hoping for, but it is very useful.
I appreciate it.

Are you going to be in the US for very long? There wouldn't be any federal taxes on the headphones, only state taxes, so it'd be effectively duty free if you ordered them from an online retailer that is not in IL and had them shipped to wherever you're staying.
