LAN LANPASS - Questions about Using LANPASS km's on partners

With the demise of Mexicana, I'm looking into other options for booking the Mexico portion of my upcoming trip.

Purchased flights on AeroMexico are not a good value (understatement), so I was looking into partner redemption.

I am not a current LANPASS member, but was considering transferring some points out of SPG into a new LANPASS account if booking AeroMexico award travel is possible.

Which leads to a few questions:
1) How long should I expect SPG-->LANPASS transfer to take? My flights within Mexico start 9/21 - I'm probably a little late here.
2) Any experience with availability on AeorMexico using LANPASS? I tried to call, but they don't have weekend hours; also no way I can find to look it up online.
3) Will they put award travel on hold awaiting transfer of SPG points to LANPASS km's?
4) Can you book one way travel on AeroMexico using LANPASS awards?
5) I'm looking at the following itinerary:
-outbound PVR-OAX (connects in MEX) 985 km (PVR-OAX); 1028 km (actual routing PVR-MEX-OAX)
-return OAX-MEX (non-stop) 370km

So, would I need:
Outbound - 9000, Return 6000 Total 15000 km based on point to point kms

-or-

Outbound - 10,000, Return 6,000 Total 16000 km based on actual routing kms

-or-

Longest Segment - 9,000 (or 10,000) x2 = 18,000 or 20,000 (not sure how they price out open jaws, or if you can)

-or-

Can I book just PVR - OAX one way for 9-10K and purchase the return which is not as expensive?

I signed up for a LANPass account just for the signup bonus. Then I transferred the balance of SPG miles which were going to expire. Transferred Nov 22. LANPass account shows they were in my account Nov 22 also.

Right now I think there is a half price purchase offer for extra kms. for the weekend.

Booking was ok, once I got through to someone. I called a couple of times, since there was an issue with the bonus kms when I purchased. I could be on hold for up to a hour and then get disconntect, but that was during the Christmas season

Used the mileage to book a short haul flight on Alaska Airlines.
