These old threads might help... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/choice-privileges/191211-secret-words-save-20-all-choice-hotels.html http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/choice-privileges/869096-little-league-rate.html Search this forum for the word "codes" to maybe find some others. starflyer Aug 25, 10, 1:30 pm Anyone Never heard of the "Anyone" rate, does this really exist? What is the typical savings and how does one sign up for this rate? Firewind Aug 25, 10, 3:40 pm The only one you should ever need, unless some supercalifragilistic... new code comes down the road: http://www.choicehotels.com/lpga pmaddock Sep 2, 10, 1:54 pm One note on using LPGA - sometimes the website has trouble and tells you the rate isn't available. Don't believe it. Unless you really have to book right then usually if you wait a few hours the rate comes back into the system. RussellL Sep 27, 10, 5:21 pm Today I tried LPGA, Little League and AAA. LPGA was good for 15% off Little League & AAA 10% http://www.choicehotels.com/lpga 00213740 http://www.choicehotels.com/littleleague 00211120 carraher Oct 1, 10, 4:12 pm Is LPGA cheaper than the senior rate? Firewind Oct 1, 10, 6:41 pm Always, if it's available. PASTORJ Oct 9, 10, 1:24 am Is LPGA cheaper than the senior rate? Interestingly I have found some best available rates cheaper than the LPGA fan rate. dd1612 Oct 9, 10, 8:31 am Interestingly I have found some best available rates cheaper than the LPGA fan rate. Yes, same with me .... I have found Best Available Pre-Paid Rates Advance Reservations, better than LPGA rates. Caveat is: Non-Refundable, non-cancellable, non-transferrable, non-changeable. If the travel is definte then worth it, if there is even a small possibility of the travel changing, then I would not recommend. stallion114 Oct 10, 10, 5:39 am Holy schnikes, LPGA rate is nice, brought room from 70-59. LPGA is an eligible rate for points??? dd1612 Oct 10, 10, 8:14 am Holy schnikes, LPGA rate is nice, brought room from 70-59. LPGA is an eligible rate for points??? Yes, LPGA and Advanced Purchase rates are eligible for CP Points. This is what I have been told by Customer Service - when I called in to complain about the Website glitch. Madame R Oct 17, 10, 4:57 am Do you need to produce a LPGA membership card at check-in? dd1612 Oct 17, 10, 9:41 am No. No need for a membership Card. You need to be a FAN of the LPGA activities. That is what the website states. gohan403 Oct 21, 10, 5:57 am Any other codes found where you dont need to be a fan Firewind Oct 21, 10, 11:02 pm GEICO, by phone, is always $4+ better than LPGA for me. I have yet to be carded for either - LPGA ever (in years), GEICO since I discovered it a few weeks ago - but they always could. I believe that LPGA's position is "the more the merrier," as it increases their clout with Choice. pmaddock Oct 25, 10, 9:34 pm FYI - neither the LPGA or Little league codes seem to be working - been like that since yesterday. Firewind Oct 26, 10, 6:29 pm I've recently encountered, several times, an LPGA rate listed with a hotel on the hotel list page, but it's not there when I land on the property's own page. Giving the benefit of the doubt about what's going on, I have found in most cases that coming back to it a little later brings up the rate that was on the page with the list of hotels. I don't mean in the same sitting, but a few minutes later. As the problem could either be a problem with loading, or that the last room at that rate was just taken, I wouldn't wait much longer because you really might lose it for good. I've also sometimes found that reservations agents can't see the LPGA rate (when I call to compare LPGA and GEICO rates). And BTW, when they can, they call it "the LPGA fan rate". I mention this to assuage the guilt of those who might worry that there's a moral issue with going for it. Also BTW, I haven't broken > $50 in a while... :) |
