Singapore - A good place to meet in SIN?

I have a 3-hr transit and will be meeting up (at the airport) with an old friend of mine who lives in Singapore. Is there a restaurant at the airport where we could meet?

Thanks ... but my friend is local, so airside will not work.

I rather like the lounges in the Crowne Plaza Hotel (adjacent to Terminal Three). There is a walkway from T3 to the hotel.

There is a Swensen's in the arrival area of Terminal 2.

If you prefer to stay in T3, there is the 24 hour food gallery, which has lots of food choices.
