I get mails from the MGM properties all the time offering cheaper than normal rooms (sometimes $39, usually $59+), and they also throw in a bonus of $10-25 FREEPLAY.
Just got a b-day offer from Wynn with just a $25 free play offer (no room discount, and "terms and conditons apply", but they aren't listed anywhere on the card ).
Why do the marketing people at these casinos, esp. a higher end one like Wynn, think that $10 or $25 is going to draw us into their casinos?
And even if they would draw us in, the offers all require a stay at their casino. Seems like it would be in their best interest to make the offers valid without the room requirement.
