bmi diamond club - How can I get to... (route mapping tool)

A nice visual application which lets you see which airlines fly in to which airports. By filtering on *A airlines you can combine this with ANA to help with possible routings. (Although it doesn't give you days/times of routes).

What does this application do that the Star Alliance website doesn't provide? Is is simply adding a visual map to the timetable search?

I used to find the options into SJO for another thread on this forum, can't see an easy way of doing that on *A website (unless you route through the PDF)?
