what are the opening times for the lounge in Los Angeles?

I am on NZ2 this week and would like to go into the lounge at 9am for my 4.20pm flight :confused:

NZ lounge at LAX opens 1230 (http://www.airnewzealand.co.nz/international-lounge-directory)

If originating at LAX (or connecting from another airline on another ticket), note Air NZ check in only opens 2-2.5 hours before departure for NZ2.

The AC lounge is open earlier - useful if transferring from another flight.

On a slightly related note, how early can I check in for a AKL-RAR flight at Auckland international? I can't seem to find the info anywhere on the website. I called someone at Air NZ and they said the maximum is about 4 hours before departure?

Airport check in normally opens approx 3 hours before departure. Known exceptions are flights to USA which open around 4 hours prior, and using the kiosks for trans-Tasman flights also allows check in earlier than 3 hours.

Note 1 - check in can phone the "back room" to open a flight for check in if required.
Note 2 - if you arrive at immigration too early expect a delay while they make a call to their own "back room" to open up the flight for immigration processing.
