Checked in 4 pieces from PEK-SVO-CPH-OSL, and they are most likely lost somewhere at SVO (mainly due to wrong tagging from Air China- correct tagged to SVO, but then tagged to OSL with CPH flight code). Also lady at SVO changed tags in system at check in from CA to SK code + added co traveller.

Not located at OSL or CPH, and they have left PEK.

Any contacts at SVO please? Mailadresses, or anyone locally that can call for me?

Thanks. Connection at SVO was overnight from aug 14 to aug 15.
No info still at worldtracer.

oh, that's tough! i had same problem, except SVO was final destination. Completely useless by phone and only got results by going to airport 2 days in a row. bags were found on 2nd day in the "left luggage random pile" section. i know no one woould have been going through those bags to look for mine. try to get a direct phone number for the airline's manager at SVO.

It may not be entirely Air China's fault. SVO is known for its luggage mess and poor efficiency during transfers, I've personally had three pieces delayed while flying SU through SVO.

Try calling Aeroflot (possibly ground handling agent for CA?) at http://www.aeroflot.ru/templates/about_en/reference.html or the general luggage offices: http://www.ifly.com/sheremetyevo-international-airport/terminal-services-and-help

There are Air China offices in Copenhagen and Stockholm (http://www.airchina.com.cn/en/customer_service/worldwide_offices/europe.shtml) or call SAS.

Anyway, good luck!

Worldtracer didnt show anything before after the bags had arrived OSL wednesday afternoon the 18th. I checked the site 4x daily + called OSL groundservice 3x daily.
I had a friend in Moscow call the airport with no result.
I had Park Hyatt Moscow contact the airport tuesday 17th.
I personally mailed the pressoffice and the VIP office as those were the only 2 mailadresses I found online. They had forwarded to Lost&found that baldly stated the 18th that the bags were not at SVO.
I challenged that (lost&found is completely different than lost/misplaced luggage in transit), and requested they checked with luggagehandling in transit.
Wednesday I got a mail by lunch that the bags were underway with SU SVO-OSL, and delivered at my doorstep in the evening:)

I beleive its either my own consistency mailing SVO or Hyatts help that solved the situation.

OSL groundservice would never call or e-mail other airports, they just used worldtracer, and sent telexes to the airports.

CA clearly labelled the bags wrong. Also some of the bags were torn and repacked. Acording to OSL groundservice all misplaced luggage are to be scanned in worldtracer within 2 hours, so clearly also someone at SVO didnt do their job.

It seems it was all lost in transit, and just found because I "knew" it was there and someone actually went to search.
