I know that Alaska Air has the annual Divident Fund sale...any good rates intra-state?

Do Eva and Penn ever go on sale??? I really want to go to Dutch Harbor or St. George ... but $400 ow seems too high..

Those flights to DUT are actually controlled by Alaska Airlines and rarely (if ever) go on sale. There "may" be a PFD sale in late September, but not every seat will be discounted. Watch this carefully because when they do go on sale, locals will snap them up.

There is a sale on Pen Air right now from St. George, but it's far from a bargain at $537 one way to ANC. They also do operate independently to Dutch Harbor, via Cold Bay I believe. Probably more expensive then the non-stop flight operated for Alaska.

Era Alaska does have fare sales too, but they don't fly to St. George or Dutch. Alaska miles are a good way to get intra-state if you have or can get them. Maybe doing a mileage run and crediting Alaska could be cheaper then outright paying for a ticket.

Intra-state awards are available for 7,500 miles one-way or 15,000 round-trip. Enough miles for a trip to ADK or DUT can be bought from AS's website for far less than a revenue ticket costs, although note that you are not guaranteed to find availability at the super-saver level. Mileage purchases usually post instantly, though (from what I've heard), and so you might be able to have one window open looking for seats and another window open ready to buy miles once you've found an itinerary you like.

If you don't have hotel points or AS miles, the signup bonuses alone for either the Alaskan credit card or the Starwood credit card (you can convert Starwood points into Alaska miles) should be enough for a ticket (assuming there is availability).
I used 20,000 AS miles (transferred from SPG) a few years back to fly to DUT ... the cheapest revenue tickets were $800.
