Yes. That certainly helped this become a reality. We may see more ex-Mexicana stuff in the future.

Nice seeing AS ramp on MX flights... I am a little worried that AS will not have the aircraft available to increase capacity in Mexico since their fleet growth is going to flatline until 2012... However, if they want to add Mexico flights they can defer the 734s retirement.

Non-CUN MX flights via LAX can be accomplished by just some capacity reduction on other routes, still getting some segments in with the same aircraft to other places.
