bmi diamond club - changes to a DC redemption

I have made a redemption booking, and have already flown the 1st flight of the return ticket.

Are you able to make a change to the return, availability depending?

Unfortunately not (assuming it's on the same ticket)..You find a 101 posts here telling you to book separate outward and return tickets - it costs the same in cash & miles.

thank you. And yes, I have read the threads about making two one ways instead of a return, but I just wanted to check.

If I cancel the return leg of a reward flight, once the outbound has been made, do I get any of the taxes back, or am I playing wishful thinking?
