Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - 11A or 12A on 777-200ER

Just booked my flight FCO-SIN-SYD and note the layout indicates the aircraft from FCO-SIN is the 772ER. I've booked 11A but I note that 11C is a bassinet seat - I usually prefer the extra space in front associated with 11A, however, I'm not a tall person.
I note that 12A is still available and was wondering whether anyone could tell me whether they think it's a better option than 11A (apart from the risk of being seated next to someone travelling with an infant)?
Cheers
I don't recall ever being on a 777-200ER, but what's this I see on SeatGuru about there being less foot room when the seat is fully reclined?

I'm only 5'8'' and still find the leg room in 11A to be pretty limited. I'd go for 12A.

I'm just over 6' and love row 11 on the 772ER, esp. 11C and 11H. Nobody in front of you and more than enough leg room. And regarding the infant, whether you're sitting next to one or directly behind one...not much difference. If it really bothers you, then the last row is probably better than row 12.

Your comment is rather odd. If you don't want to have anyone in front of you, why don't you go for 8A or 9A (depending on the configuration)? These seats are even better than any seat in row 11.
I'd go for 12A. I like the seat pocket and the storage available from the seatback of 11A. Besides, I think the galley light shines into part of row 11. (P.S. I have never flown in row 11. The galley light looks like it shines into row 11, that is when viewed from row 12)

On the contrary, your comments in this thread are rather odd :p

Thank you all for your advice ... I couldn't see any comment on SeatGuru about less foot room and I'm at a loss to understand the comment regarding rows 8 and 9 - Row 11 is the 1st row in the two class 777-200ER. Interesting that 11C and 11H are your preferred seats because they're both marked as bassinet seats and I assumed that I would not be able to book either of them as I'm not travelling with an infant.
I think I'll stick to 11A - whilst 12A is available, 12C is already occupied. To date - all the bassinet seats are available so I might be lucky enough to have an empty seat next to me - in fact, with less than a month to go more than 50% of the business class seats are unsold so I'm hoping that if I have any problem with my chosen seat I won't have any difficulty moving when I'm on board - although perhaps they sell a lot of seats in the last few weeks before departure?
