I am travelling with my cat who is just over 9lbs (9.4) and will not fit into the SMALL SHERPA - she needs a MEDIUM but the medium is slightly larger than WestJet's stated requirements - by 2" in height and another 2 in length. I am not that worried about the length but the height - maybe it won't fit? I am told several people that they have travelled with the MEDIUM sized SHERPA bag and it was fine as it will collapse down to fit under. I also called the airline and the person on the phone said - yes, we do take the MEDIUM SHERPA bags but I am very nervous as it seems to all depend on who you talk to. Someone at the pet store said no. I don't want to take a chance and have her tossed below in baggage when we get there as it is a 5 hour flight and she will be stressed and ME TOO ! Has anyone used the MEDIUM SHERPA bag on Westjet on board flights. Many thanks !
