Hi All
End of last year I bought a bunch of flights from BHX to KBP for the family and instead of paying the +/-800 euros in taxes, departed with 120,000 points instead (4 x 2(legs) x return). I had not seen this advertised and only found it thru speaking to KLM direct. I thought this allowed me to squander points (free) without using my points as normal 'paying' for the flight more or less thru taxes...
My question is; are they still doing it? I know it was only good for European flights...

Yes they are.

You can now use your Award Miles to pay for taxes and service fees on your Award tickets. This option costs 7,500 Miles per flight. It is available for all AIR FRANCE and KLM flights in Europe*. To benefit from this option, please contact Flying Blue Customer Service.
