Singapore - Luggage storage while in transit hotel in SIN

I searched but couldn't find this specific answer...

I'm arriving in SIN at midnight (On United) and leaving at 0700 (on Lufthansa) and staying in the transit hotel. Doing the same thing in reverse a week later. I'll try to book my bags all the way through. Failing that, I assume I have to pick up my luggage, but don't know where to store it (since I can't take it back in to the secure area). Can I check back in that early? If not, am I stuck in the lobby until I can check in?

First you should be able to through check it.

Otherwise, just go to the transit hotel and check-in. The luggage will stay in lost and found in the secure area before the exit from customs. You then have two choices, go to the transfer desk within the secured area and request that they retag the bags for your LH flight. The alternative is pick up your waiting bag(s) and clear customs. Recheck at LH.

I leave bags until the morning on most of my visits to SIN.

I agree with Opushomes. I've stayed at the transit hotel three times last year. Once I checked the bag through to the final destination and confirmed at the transfer area and the other two I picked up the bags in lost and found after my stay at the hotel.

Side note: there is paid storage for bags if you want to leave bags at the airport and explore Singapore.

I can confirm that too. Since flights from the U.S. arrive after midnight, I have often not claimed my luggage until after 7:00 a.m. Your luggage will stay around the baggage claim area, don't know if it's lost and found. I can't imagine UA and LH not having interline baggage agreement, since they are not only in star alliance, but are also major airlines. United can check your bags through to the final destination, in which case you won;t have to claim your bags in SIN at all.

I am in that situation right now - arrived with UA0803 last night and traveling onwards to STR in a few hours. SQ326 is my next flight. I followed the advice on the Transit hotel's website - contacted the transfer desk after landing last night, showed them my baggage tag from United. She worked some magic to - hopefully - get my checked baggage moved onwards to STR. I can tell you tomorrow whether it worked...
