With Westjet's new pricing structure, are flights as low as they are going to be. I am looking at a flight from YYJ to MBJ for Nov and prices are much higher than last year (+300). Can I expect any lower of prices or forget about flying westjet? Thanks!

I think that this new pricing structure may be a case of "the more things change the more they stay the same." Airline prices can always change.
It is very likely that this new pricing structure means that this will be the lowest price you see. That being said, if seats are not selling, or if AC decides to have a massive seat sale, WS could lower its price. My guess is that AC wouldn't undercut WS by very much (if at all) as that would mean AC leaving money on the table (per seat sold). If WS seats aren't selling, I would guess they would lower prices, but only slightly.
My advice is simply this. If you are ok with the price now, purchase the ticket and don't worry if the price goes down later (prices can always go up too). Otherwise, you might want to look at a different destination or airline.
EDIT: I don't know what dates you are searching for. I tried a few random dates on expedia. WS was cheaper than AC on some dates and vice versa, but there were several stops involved for both. Also, on the dates were WS was significantly lower the comment "only 3 seats left at this price" appeared, leading me to believe that it is entirely possible that prices may go up even more than what you are seeing now.

Thanks for the reply. Thats what I was afraid of... My dates are Nov 17-Dec2. I can fly out of Seattle for 1/2 price, so thats probably the way we will have to go, unless of course there is a big sale!

These fares will crash soon. No way they can maintain these fares into the fall unless they want 50% capacity. I predict sales will return by the 3rd week of August.

Late August lowest fares YEG-YYZ have already fallen to $169.....a start of the melt.

I don't know just how far they are prepared to go with these new fares?, I am trying to book a flight from YEG to LAS in October (the slowest month of the year for transborder travel) and they want $700 + tax. You can fly to YYZ for just about half that on WJ(oh right but there is competition this route!) I am going to call their bluff and wait til the last minute if necessary. If you go on seatcounter.com there is all kinds of room on the planes... what gives ??

There are many ways to get to LAS...albeit not non-stop.
