Don't know if it's the best in Singapore, but Iggy's is highly rated. Recently ranked #29 in the S Pellegrino Top 50 Restos in the World, and usually ranked #1 or #2 in Asia.
There's another thread on Iggy's in this forum.

The Les Amis Group in Singapore have numerous restaurants, most of them highly recommended.
http://www.lesamis.com.sg/webtop/index1.html
Les Amis and Au Jardin are supposedly very good; Aoki is some of the finest Japanese cuisine outside of Tokyo I have ever had.
The Tung Lok Group have a number of Chinese restaurants which are supposed to be very good as well:

If you are staying at the Four Seasons, consult with Edmund Tan, the Chef Concierge -- he and his team are very much in the know of these sorts of things.
Enjoy!!

1. Fifty Three Restaurant opened by Michael Han, who previously worked at Heston Blumenthal’s Fat Duck.
http://blog.naver.com/kosmose7/90074424342 (This dinner course cost 205 Singapore Dollars + 10% service charge + 7% tax).
2. The newly opened spot of the city, Marina Bay Sands, has Guy Savoy by Paris Michelin 3 star chef Guy Savoy, and Santi by Santi Santamaria. I tried Guy Savoy this time and it was fairly good!

I haven't spent any real time in Singapore since MBS opened. So excluding any new spots at MBS, I'd strongly recommend iggy's for fine dining in the Sing-world fusion model and the Tung Lok Group restaurants for Chinese (e.g., Jade at the Fullerton hotel). iggy's is at the Regent, quite nearby the Four Seasons. On my next visit to Singapore, we'll be staying at the FS and dining at iggy's.

Does anyone have insight into when Joel Robuchon will be opening at Sentosa? It was announced earlier in the year but I haven't been able to find any word of it since.

Welcome to FlyerTalk!
Thanks for the page reference - it looks like there are some good discounts for some of the places mentioned. Add it with frensbuy's www.hungrygowhere.com and we can probably make some good choices.
