Aegean Airlines Miles&Bonus - *A Retroactive Mileage credit from before *A entry date?

New to FT as a poster....
Seems like a lot of people including me are considering switching to Aegean to get *A Gold cheaply (20,000).
I know that Aegean's FF program does allow for retroactive mileage crediting, but does anyone know if you can retroactively credit miles from *A partner flights that were flown prior to June 30? (eg: Air China flights from April)
Perhaps should also be noted that I'm an Aegean FF member only as of a few days ago.
Thanks!

My guess is that whatever answer you get will be sheer speculation: Since Aegean only joined *A a week ago or so the only experience possible is with somebody trying to get either A3 miles (possible) or older Lufthansa miles retroactively credited; and these were award miles not counting towards status, anyway. Also, if these miles have been credited to a *A programme already there is no way to get them credited a second time.

Thanks for your input.
I didn't realize that in the current program, miles earned on Lufthansa do not count towards status, is that really the case?
My big question was if the miles are from a *A flight that dates before their official entry in the alliance would the miles count.
I haven't yet credited the miles from the flight, so on that count things should be ok.

I cannot fathom that they would credit miles flown before they were even in *A.

I just came across this thread and I had asked the same question to Aegean by email earlier. Unfortunately, I can't copy&paste because there's a "confidential" notice at the bottom of the email. To sum up, the answer is "no".
Also, does anyone know if retrocredit for past *A travel is possible by email / on the Aegean website? In the very beginning, I was trying to ask about that, but the agent doesn't seem to understand and the answers given never address the question.

You can try either email or faxing, with copies of your boarding passes. I don't know though how far back they accept.

I don't even know if future travel on Aegean will be credited to a *A partner.
I wrote the following e-mail to them two weeks ago:
Hi,
I have a reservation with you for December with the booking reference of XXXXXX.
I am a Continental One Pass Platinum member, with the account number XXXXXX. This gives me Star Alliance Gold membership. I would appreciate it if you could change my reservation so that the credits I will earn for this itinerary will go to my One Pass account.
Also, could you please tell me if my Star Alliance Gold membership will give me entry to lounges in Tel Aviv and Athens when flying Aegean Air?
To date, the only answer I have received is:
Dear Sir / Madam,
File ref: XXXXXXX

I see no point in any worries.
This is an automatic answer. But customer service takes quite a while with many airlines. Your question would be better for the reservation department.
For your Questions:
- You have Lounge access if there is a *A Lounge. You may look what kind of lounge is offered on your flight. Reservation may answer your question.
In ATH you have for sure access to either the Aegean or the LH Lounge. I would prefer the Aegean Lounge.
For putting your CO-Number in the Reservation:
- Call Aegean or your travel agent. The number is in the Reservation in a few seconds
- Go to the Check-In Counter (Lounge, Gata Agent) and ask to put in your frequent-flyer number, easy!

I realize that this is true with most *Alliance airlines but the Aegean website says that there is no lounge access in TLV and offers only credit in Miles&More or Aegean's own program.
