O'Hare Terminal 4

I'll be flying CO BOG-IAH-ORD and have my choice of a 2-hour or 4-hour connection in IAH (either way, arriving IAH around 1300 on a weekday in August). As a risk-averse person who doesn't mind spending time in airports, I normally opt for longer connections, but I thought I'd ask anyway - any reason to take my chances on the 2-hour connection?
I don't have any status on CO, by the way, so I'm on my own with the masses if rebooking is needed. Thanks!
Standard international-to-domestic connection time at IAH is 60 minutes. Continental online connections are 55 minutes. I'd take the 2 hours connection.
1) You still have cushion for irrops
2) I always bet on flying earlier rather than later, all else equal
3) Then there are still a couple more IAH-ORD flights on Continental if your flight has problems, compared to only one more if you book the later flight.
You never know which flight will be delayed, you could book the 530pm-ish departure and find that the 3pm would have gone off fine, your later flight is cancelled, and you can't get on the last flight of the day as others off of your 530 have priority.
So ... fly earlier rather than later, with more backup options rather than fewer, on a perfectly reasonable connection to book given the airport, IMHO.

Take the earlier 2 hour coonection (which should be easy at IAH) to preserve a rebooking window for a later flight to ORD.
