Stayed there in March for 1 night before going to China.
Location is excellent - 3 mins walk from Paddington station.
Rooms are small, but very nicely decorated.
If it's a 1 night stay it would be OK - much longer and the space would be an issue.
Free wireless internet is good to in every room (has to be wirless though - wired is a charge!)
Can't comment on breakfast - but there is a restaurant that does breakfast / lunch / dinner 2 mins walk on the corner by the traffic lights (on same same as Hilton), by the station.
Would go back for sure - ideal for the Heathrow Express or Connect into LHR.

I quite like this hotel and have stayed here a number of times. The rooms are small but the executive rooms are larger and quite nice (they are often opposite the elevator). I like to feel -- a little artsy and modern. The location is very convenient for me because I take a day flight into LHR, take the HEX in, and walk across the street from Paddington and go to sleep. I can then take the tube to various clients. The gym is small but new and the elliptical machines work for me. Plus, wifi is free. Yay. Great showers. And, generally, the price is not bad. Sometimes inexpensive, rarely exorbitant.
The staff are all young typically Eastern European and reasonably enthusiastic about being helpful. They all know me by name and have gone out of their way to be helpful -- I had a tux delivered for a benefit dinner and somehow more than one came and they made sure they got back to me. One day I was arriving at night and needed to get a suit pressed before a 1 PM flight the next day and they found a local dry cleaner who would do it for me. One pretty young staff member always seems to find me an upgrade and cheerily checks me in whenever she is there. My assistant calls there to arrange things and she is always there to take care of them. Very sweet.
The only thing I'll say is that there aren't many terrific restaurants in the neighborhood. I like Noor Jahan a few blocks away (great Saag Paneer).
From my perspective, I'm happy if the hotel has a nice bed, a good shower, and good broadband. The Indigo Paddington does these things well and is convenient (at least to the airport) and has a nice staff.

I had a very unsatisfactory award night there in June. I am PC Plat. I was given a room in the basement with no exterior window and a patio door into an airshaft which did not provide any cooling and was noisy with the hum of A/C condensers when open. I sat in the room for several minutes on arrival and then went back to reception to ask for a different room. They claimed to be full. I asked why the room was so hot. Unfortunately they had set my room for heat and not A/C. They claimed to have reset it to cool and I left to walk around while the room cooled. The room was still hot when I returned but they still claimed to have no other room. I was really PO'd and called IHG and got someone that had such a strong foreign accent as to be unintelligible. It was a waste of a call. Anyhow it was late and only one night but I was very displeased. The manager was there the next AM when I checked out and I bet he wished he hadn't asked how my stay was. He gave me his business card and said to email him before my next stay. That is nice but not really useful.
Anyhow, if I had it to do again I would have demanded my points be refunded, left and went to another hotel.
I have stayed in this hotel twice.
For me, it is very good value for money: free internet, close to Paddington station for just around STG100. The room is a bit small but sufficient.
Just one negative things about both my stay: on the check out day on both my stay, I got a call just before 12 noon to "make sure" that I am ready to leave at 12 or before despite me informing them that I am a Priority Platinum member (I was told that late check outs need to be informed them beforehand and subject to availability - and they are always full on both stays).
I did check out between 12:15 and 12:30 on both stays but I couldn't help but feel that the hotel just can't wait to get rid of me.
