Have the joy of spending a night in Rocky Mount next week. DOes anyone know of a good local place (not good as in expensive, good as in good food big portions) to grab dinner? How about a bar afterwards whose crowd is aged 18-30?

There's always your standard chain restaurants, but perhaps you might like to try some Eastern NC barbeque. I'd recommend Gardner's on N. Wesleyan Blvd ^

Me and my wife love Chico's in Rocky Mount, it is in a beautiful old mill on the river, good mexican, good bar.
Garner's is a good BBQ place in Rocky Mount.
