Ok, this sounds like a shameless plug, but in full disclosure, I have no affiliation to the site/company, I just thought it was a cool site. There was an interesting article on TechFlash.com, a Seattle technology website. It was talking about a new website called GoMiles, which allows you track multiple mileage accounts from airlines, car rentals, hotels and amtrak all from one website.

They are offering 100 free invitation codes to the "beta program" to reader's of the website, with the code posted in the article, for anyone interested.

Nice looking site, but it is missing a ton a airline and hotel programs. It would have to become significantly more comprehensive before I consider taking the time to add all my programs. Thanks for the heads-up, I'll keep and eye on it and see if they become a player.

This site is pretty cool. Neat, easy to read layout, and it groups airlines by alliance which is somewhat useful (not that I didn't know, but for novices).

One thing I found funny - on the side it has a list of promos for each of the programs you've put in, and some of them (BA 5k auth user, UA Chase 50k, etc...) link directly to the flyertalk thread.

Hi FTers-

Thanks for the shout out, Rybob1. As the article mentioned, we are in private beta still, so our programs are still limited (but to 4health's point, Ariana Air's Reward Club program is on our dev list - if you are flying KBL-KDH, we'll have you covered - soon!).

Dinosims, to your point about the GoDeals, We scan a lot of places to look for promotions that our users would find interesting. There are some great deals discussed here on FT, and we want to highlight them to our users in an easy way - by linking straight to the relevant FT.

We would love to hear more feedback on how we can make the site better, (indeed we've been having conversations with a few FT participants offline ). In our view the FT community is truly the "Pro User" for our site so I know that feedback here is going to be more advanced and nuanced than anywhere else, and will help us to keep driving the site forward in the right direction.

Thanks!

FWIW, I'm one of the folks who has been chatting with the GoMiles folks for a while trying to help them get the site up to snuff. I think that it has come quite a ways in the past few weeks and it is pretty solid overall in terms of functionality. There are definitely still some quirks in some of the functions but for the programs they have enabled right now it is pretty solid and the road map looks VERY promising.

I'm happy I have an account and have it monitoring what it can and I'm looking forward to whatever is next.

What I like about this site is that I can track both me and my husbands accounts in one GoMiles account - very handy feature!!!

Will be a great site once all the loyalty programs are uploaded

wow, definitely different from all other mileage tracker sites. It's easy to use, easy to read and I'm sure once its complete, it will be very popular among mileage junkies

I signed up. Looks good so far. Certainly flashier / fancier than awardwallet.

While I find GoMiles to be a nice tracking site I have to laugh at the way techflash dot com presented this breaking story. It's as if this is a revolutionary idea (one stop place to track multiple accounts). SCORE one for techflash  TechFlash dot com calls itself "Seattle's Technology News Source". A real "news source" would include some reference to other mileage tracking services while still mentioning this new resource instead of implying that GoMiles has come up with a brand new idea. It's great if they (GoMiles) are reinventing the wheel but they certainly aren't inventing it.

I don't see any documented way to include the FF accounts of more than one person in GoMiles.com. How does that work?

I use AwardWallet, and one of its best features is that it attempts to determine and show you when your miles/points will expire. I do not see that functionality on GoMiles.

A negative feature of AwardWallet is that it shows old point additions as new in the balance column. For example, I received 100,000 BA miles months ago, and ever since then AwardWallet has listed them in green as "new." I hope GoMiles is able to avoid this problem.

At this time it looks to me as if AwardWallet is way ahead, and it will be interesting to see what GoMiles can do to close the gap.

You can just add another account - it doesn't restrict it to one person's accounts, so just input their FF number and password, and it'll add it to the list.

Some of the airlines have expiration date data - United, for instance. You have to click on the mileage total of that account, and it will show a popup box with that information.

There is a code in the OP's link to the Techflash page - just use that code and you can create your own account

OpenFlights can import data from FlightMemory so such things can be done by competitors. That being said, at most I'd guess it would be able to get a list of all the programs and account numbers; you'd still have to provide all the passwords again.

How do you guys know to trust a web site with all of your login info? I've got about $15,000 worth of points and I wouldn't turn over the account numbers and passwords to just anyone.

You don't. They could completely screw you. In this case I actually was able to talk with the owners/operators of the site before making that leap but that isn't always possible. Still, in this case I'm comfortable with where things stand, but it is a bit of a leap of faith.
