AC is having a sale...for 4 of us (1 would be lap infant), I can get us down and back for 1400 bucks incl taxes (airfare only).
Question
1) Is Bermuda child friendly?
2) What are good hotel options?
Is it better to book all inclusive or flight + hotels?
Thanks!

Fairmont has some deals available, but I'm not sure if your dates will line up with your flights. I would suggest the Fairmont Southampton because of the beach, pools, golf and tennis. The rooms are large, even the standard rooms, compared to the Hamilton Princess.
Tourists are not permitted to rent cars in Bermuda, so be prepared for forking out for taxis or taking public transit. A nice perk of the Fairmonts, is that they have a free ferry 3-4 times per day between the two properties. It's a large boat and easy to access with strollers, backpacks, etc. and the ride is very pleasant as long as it's not raining.
I've also learned from my sister who is currently in Bermuda, that the Fairmont will organize a minibus (van) for airport pickup for a fee. I suggest you check with the hotel directly to get the price for 4 people. A taxi from BDA to the Southampton can cost USD 45 +/-.

The Fairmont Southamption is currently running an amazing sale. The bookings are non-refundable and must be made by June 17, but rooms are $199+tax from now through August 20, $99 thereafter through September 30, or something like that.
I've stayed there twice -- it's quite nice.

Hi, I stayed there last year during the end of Sept, and the Fairmont Southampton (and Bermuda in general) was great for kids. Very safe, my 2 year old loved the pool, the beach, the hotel, the boat rides, the aquarium, the food, everything (as did my wife and I). Had never been before, we are looking to go back same time this year.
One serious word of caution -- some of the projections from the oil spill indicate that oil will be in the vicinity of Bermuda by early Sept. Depending on the price you get, it might still be worth it (for $99 I'd stay there for the pool and non-beach activities).
