I dont see where you are sending the $$$ from.... we will need more info to be able to give you the best advice. danola May 31, 10, 6:22 pm Gaucho - from the USA and South Carolina to be exact - it's only $200, so that fee is 10%. If you have some advice, let me know and Muchas Gracias !!! Gaucho100K May 31, 10, 6:51 pm Ah.... well for that small amount, Im afraid that the only other option I can think of will be Western Union.... unless the recipient uses Pay Pal, although I dont know if that actually works down here in Buenos Aires. Cash (in either pesos or dollars) can be picked up at BBVA Banco Francés branches: https://www.xoom.com/sendmoneynow/home?receiveCountryCode=AR John britenbsas Jun 1, 10, 1:40 pm Is it possible to withdraw money from Paypal accounts in Argentina? There is still no facility to transfer funds to an Argentine bank account but you can get them to send a cheque (not very reliable and even if it arrives, you'll be stung with fees when cashing it) or transfer funds directly to a US bank account Gaucho100K Jun 1, 10, 3:52 pm You'd trust these people? ;):p:D Good point... ;) Eastbay1K Jun 1, 10, 5:10 pm You'd trust these people? ;):p:D I wouldn't. Some of the mules still fly United down there :eek::eek: HIDDY Jun 5, 10, 9:15 am Gaucho - from the USA and South Carolina to be exact - it's only $200, so that fee is 10%. 10% is not that bad to be honest. Gaucho100K Jun 8, 10, 10:33 am 10% is not that bad to be honest. Well, this depends. If you need to wire down $5000 then its theft, but for small amounts, you get hit with the minimun charges and in this case then the 10% is as you say, reasonable. |
