I just booked a car for a one way trip from Los Angeles to Denver. I got a pretty good rate, although the LDW was high ($25 per day). However, I figured I'd hang on to it while I search for more options elsewhere. I suddenly noticed that my rental was limited to about 1000 miles or so, and that after that it was $0.43 per mile - is that typical for budget? or just because this was a one way rental? I am so relieved that I saw that and promptly cancelled the reservation.
Wow finding a car rental at a decent rate can be time consuming.:td:
By the way I'm new to Budget and I can't help but noticing that most of the threads in this area of the forum are negative or complaints about Budget. Pretty interesting.
