Rockford's at it again, this time aparantly trying to attract two different airlines (http://www.rrstar.com/carousel/x2084228674/RFD-needs-fliers-help-to-win-over-2-interested-airlines) to fly to Rockford. A blog post with no other information at his time can be found here (http://blogs.e-rockford.com/thepassengerseat/2010/05/05/rfd-starts-its-we-the-people-campaign-eyes-interesting-destinations/).

For some reason, I love it when airport officials release these vague press releases. Any guesses on who the “very well-known low-cost carrier" is, or what they mean by “very well-known”?

I also like how they mention that they're trying to get flights to Denver again, since it worked out so well the last three times (Hooters (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/newsstand/502034-united-pushes-hooters-air-aside.html), United Express (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/newsstand/803081-uniteds-rockford-denver-flights-end-route-might-not.html) and Southern Skyways (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/newsstand/853629-southern-skyways-pulls-out-rockford-denver-route.html)) they tried it.
