"US Airways customers will also gain access to TAM Airlines airport lounges."
I assume this won't be similar to gaining unlimited access to RCCs and PCs, but one can hope. Anyone care to guess? Would make a nice option at LHR when not flying *A.
TAM Lounge locations:
ASU
EZE
CCS
GIG
GRU
LHR
MIA
MXP
CDG

As far as the TAM codeshare is concerned generally, this really isn't much of a surprise since TAM joins *A tomorrow. I doubt the codeshare has anything to do with whether or not US keeps this route, particularly since TAM's entry into *A was in the works long before US was awarded the route. If they can't eventually make a profit or if fuel goes bonkers the route is a goner, but the route is barely six months old, and I imagine not expected to be profitable for at least another year.

I've been reading on two other boards that the load factors have been in the upper 30-low 40%ile during the past 6 months. The 767 has problems and it is not a reliable aircraft for this distance.
I think they will drop it sooner rather than later. CLT-HNL is already coming off the books and is delayed almost 90% of the time. CLT-GIG has an average to poor rating when it comes to on-time performance. GIG-CLT, not much better. It won't be long. US will route GIG customers through MCO or MIA to catch the JJ flights and especially from PHL where there are US non-stops to both cities from PHL.

Yes, unfortunately, it will be discontinuation all flight CLT-GIG. This is not real specifically time at all. I know lots of those customers who likely go through MCO or MIA is more convenient for next connecting flight on JJ. It will have a better conversation on operated JJ out of MIA/MCO-Brazils flight. I thought the routes is enough more profitable out CLT-GIG?
