Japan - KIX-Kyoto after 9:30pm

I was wondering if the train stops running from KIX to Kyoto after 9:30 or 10pm. Someone at my hotel led me to believe that it does.

I arrive from HKG at 21:05 and have to clear customs before jumping on the train to Kyoto. I should be in Kyoto between 10:30 and 11, right?

The JR West Haruka 46 and Haruka 48 departs KIX at 21:31 and 22:16 respectively.

In other words, if you don't make that 9:31 pm Haruka and must take the last train, you will be getting into Kyoto station about 11:30 pm.

FYI, last bus from KIX to Kyoto leaves at 10PM.

I have been able to zip through customs and immigration with luggage within 30 minutes of landing several times. But, I know the airport pretty well.

And last train departs some minutes after 11. In the case you have to change trains.
