South - Savannah Locals Rest-Bars

Will be in Savannah for two nights (May 14th & 15th) and myself & the Bride are interested in going to local bars and restaurants that the Locals themselves would go to. Am not interested in the Tourist type establishments as we really do enjoy the local flavor.

But Savannah is a walking town, and the locals do mix with the tourists.
Be sure to walk River Street; but another area that might interest you is City Market.
try Google for something like savannahcitymarket;)
It's really hard not to enjoy being in Savannah:).
