Orlando - Connection time between terminals at MCO?
I'm considering an itinerary that combines tickets on WN and US connecting in Orlando. What's a safe amount of connection time, given that it looks like re-clearing security would be necessary? Domestic ticket, no checked bags, and online check-in. Is 70 minutes enough?
If your incoming flight is on time, you should be OK, although you won't have much margin in the case of a delay. It's roughly a 10 minute walk, and security is typically less than 10 minutes, but can vary widely from 3 minutes to 30 or more.

Sometimes much more.
I got to MCO 2 hours early, at 7 am, during spring break and almost missed my flight.
Whoever designed the security setup, at least the one for gates 60 and up, ought to be shot.

Yeah, wait times can be all over the place, depending on the time of day. I've gotten through in less then 5 minutes and sometimes have had to wait for nearly 30 minutes. With a 70-min connect time, you should be able to make it. But if your flight runs late coming in and the security lines are long . . . good luck.

Sorry if it's inappropriate to tack this to the end of a thread, but it is a related question.
Normally, I fly VS to MCO, then transfer to DL domestic flights. This works well, as I can go straight through to the terminal without having to go out of a secure area.
However, I'm due to fly US domestic on my next trip, as the DL times didn't work so well. What is the transfer procedure to go from international arrivals, to US domestic gates? Can I stay in the secure area? Or is the trains to the main terminal, and then walk through?
thanks

This is it, you will need to re-clear security at the west end of the terminal.

45 minutes on average, if you need to clear security. I have gotten thru MCO security in 5 minutes and then sometimes 30 :)

MCO is a nightmare... and the airport management seems to think they are doing a good job. I once suggested to one of them standing around staring at the lines that (A) he DO something and (B) if he didn't know how to manage lines to give Disney a call, they seemed to have a clue!! LOL!
It was the airport that made me pay for FlyClear!
