Nordic Countries - Copenhagen: Crowne Plaza vs Hilton

I have a 20hr layover in CPH and want a hotel near the airport but with good options for getting into Copenhagen and/or Malmö. These two hotels seem to fit the bill, and have the option of sleeping three adults (a must for us).

Does anyone have experience with these hotels? Which has a better location (easy access to transportation)? Nicer amenities?

Thanks!

The Hilton is an 8 indoor minute walk from the airline gates and only a 2 minute walk to the Metro. Additionally it is one of the quietest hotels I have ever stayed in and my room faced the runway last week.

I completely concur with the assessment posted by Mr. Nice. The ability to walk to the airport and both the Metro and DSB train stations is extremely convenient.

For the CP, you would call the free shuttle, as the Metro line serving the hotel (line M1) does not run to the airport. Also, the DSB train station is outdoors and a slight longer walk from the airport lobby:

One more thing that speaks in favor of the Hilton transportation wise, is that the Railways has a service and ticket sales desk at the airport, if you need to buy tickets to Malmö etc.

The 24-hour pass has to be purchased at the airport DSB ticketing office mentioned above by cph_flyer.

I bought mine from the Hilton concierge for 70 DKK.

I bought mine from the Hilton concierge for 70 DKK. Considering that the regular price is 125 DKK, you can be sure that I will buy from the concierge on my next visit!! :)

Seems there is a 24 hour City pass availiable at 70 DKK. Covers the zones 1-2-3-4 (Central Copenhagen + the Airport).
