The reason why I ask....
I'm booking a one-way shuttle flight DCA-BOS for Friday December 3. (I'm taking Amtrak back as I've never taken Amtrak from Boston-NYC and would like to see the route.)
Anywho, JetBlue's lowest fare is $59 (none of these fares include tax), and highest is $79. Delta is $72 for all flights DCA-BOS on the 3rd.
USAirways? $347. For all flights. This is just one example. So far I've been booking all of my DCA-BOS-DCA travel on B6 because I'm a SkyTeam nothing and US isn't even trying to compete. I hope US has enough loyal fliers to succeed at this.
Really? Since this is a leisure trip and I don't need the segment to requalify for 1P I think I'll skip USAir on this one.
