I've always dissed the Ramada chain (and not without reason!), but I now have a favorite Ramada: their Long Island City property. On a similar promo, I recently stayed there for $40/night. An excellent deal for this very decent hotel. Alas, I can't find any availability for that hotel on this promo.

Well, either they pulled the promo early or NOT A SINGLE PROPERTY IN CA was available. I just saw the posting at 815PM PT on 04-29-10 and tried 10 different CA cities for various dates in May. Every single time: "No properties are available for the rate you selected. Properties for the best available rate are shown instead." It's not 856PM PT (1156PM ET). Oh well.

Definitely not as good as the 50% OFF offers from earlier in 2010.
