Budget - budget at la amtrak

does anyone know why the budget at the los angeles amtrak station has higher rates than the airport? this sucks unfortunately because it costs $16 roundtrip and wasted time to take a shuttle bus to/from the amtrak station/lax.

well I am trying to rent for the cheapest possible fri/sat night 2day rental in may or late april. anyone have any ideas?

LAX has higher taxes, so cost is maybe more even if base price is less
