Anyone else notice that the window for seat 2A (my favorite) on the E190 is always filthy? There must be a reason for this.

I don't think it's really dirty, so much as it is scratched up from the jetway.

Agreed - the left bulkhead window on virtually plane is this way.

It always seems more dirty that scratched to me, but maybe you guys are right.

Every fleet type doesn't have only a bulkhead between the first window seat aircraft left and the main entry door, plus the fleet types that don't board through 1L wouldn't have the problem of the jetway pad rubbing the window for the first row aircraft left.
