JFK Runway Run: http://www.jfkrunwayrun.org/ Sunday April 18th at 9am (be there at 8am)
Sounds like a fun event, too bad its a week in advance of the "Freddies Do" which would probably ensure more NYC visitors that may be interested in attending, if only for the sake of being on the runway taking pix close to the planes... but perhaps the locals are interested.
I've done the Lincoln Tunnel Challenge - the only NYC 5k completely under water, which was sponsored by my then employer, and which was a lot of fun... But I don't want to do this on my own. So if anybody's definitely interested Online registration closes at 6pm on April 17th. Or you can pay at the gate the morning of.
I will be driving in as there's FREE parking, so free ride from New Jersey or Manhattan for anyone interested in joining me.

T-Shirts and Goody Bags
Official "5K Runway Run" T-shirts and Goody Bags will be guaranteed to anyone who is pre-registered. There will be a limited number of "5K Runway Run" T-shirts and Goody Bags for day of race registrants (first come, first get basis).
