Midwest Airlines Midwest Miles (Pre-Alignment) - Highest ever March load factors reported for Midwest/Frontier

Republic released March traffic figures today. For branded operations, Midwest/Frontier had a consolidated load factor of 84% compared to 78% in the same period last year.
There is no break-down between Midwest and Frontier, but Republic stated in its news release that both carriers achieved "the highest March load factor in their histories."

I've heard advance bookings through the end of summer are very strong. Obviously part of this is due to the on-going fare wars in MKE and DEN.

It's shocking Midwest/Frontier filled so many seats in March. According to some on this board, no one flies *Midwest* anymore.

Republics load factor generator for "Midwest". Replace all the mainline airplanes with regional jets. Sell the tickets to passengers that loved to fly on Midwest Airlines. The bait and switch will work the first time the passenger fly's "Midwest" not the next time. The real tale of the tape is passengers flown not load factor. It sure seems like AirTran is picking up the passengers. The local chamber events I attend tell the real story what people think of Republic, the same story that so concerns Republic management. I sure hope we all remember the real Midwest not this cheap copy.

That's 95,275 additional passengers who chose to fly them at Milwaukee.
