will be interesting to hear if impact is positive or negative, and also whether MO's daily use option is still available. 2 years ago >
apparently the MO now offers daily access to Casa Casuarina (room rates from $1200) and its beach for $175pp. yacht transfers between properties are an additional $175pp.

Maybe the $2100 is the anticipated High-season beginning rate (during ArtBasel, etc).

Barton G. has made quite a name for himself as a restauranteur/caterer in South Florida. It remains to be seen if he can successfully operate a small luxury hotel and if he will (hopefully) redecorate the nauseatingly overdone rooms/suites. I think a new, more elegant style could help justify and make possible the $1200+ rates that Casa Casuarina could never seem to support(I usually saw rooms in the $595-$795 range outside of special events like the Super Bowl or Art Basel).
