I have received this before -- but don't understand why WN sends me the standard Confrimation (same as I got when booking) 2 hr before flight.
Now if they sent a reminder 12-24 hr before flight-- I could understand. That may get people to cancel a reservation if they forgot they had one and prompt on line check in.

I remember once getting a new confirmation e-mail stamped at the time I checked my bags. The one thing out of the ordinary was that my first flight had a short delay and the agent checked to see that I had a good connecting time, which I did. Because she started an inquiry that could have changed my booking, it resulted in an e-mail as if a change had been made?

the last couple times i've flown, i've received a confirmation email while standing in hades (TSA line), and I don't recall any delays...

I don't mind the 2 hour confirmation.
I can simply whip out my phone at the airport, punch in the reservation #, and re-print my boarding pass.
