Best Western Rewards - Discount Best Western Travel Cards

Anyone know of any specials or discounts on Best Western Travel Cards? They had a promotion that you could get a $10 Gift Card for each $100 Best Western Card purchased, but that seems to have ended.

Now through August 31, 2011, earn 500 bonus miles for every $100 Best Western Travel Card® purchase. There is no limit, so you could earn thousands of bonus miles!

Since you cannot use these Travel Cards for Internet Special or Manager's Special rates, if you do usually use these rates, keep in nind that a $100 Travel Card is therefore worth somewhat less than $100 in actual use (because you have to use it with a non-prepaid rate).

I'm not sure that 500 miles would necessarily offset the $4-$8 loss in value I typically have to put up with when using it. (And if you don't have either AAA or AARP, the difference between a prepaid rate and another rate might be even more for you!)
