In planning a possible trip to Norway this August (yes, we know it's expensive, that's for another thread) we've been trying to access Hurtigruten's U.S. Web site for over a week now with no success. (We've tried multiple computers, both Mac and Windows, on different networks. None of them have any trouble accessing any other site.) hurtigruten.com redirects to hurtigruten.us, which isn't there. We can get to inside pages directly, such as hurtigruten.us/norway, but they seem out of date (for instance, special discounts if you book before the end of 2009).
We can get to hurtigruten.co.uk and several other international sites, so we could theoretically book something that way, but booking from the "wrong" country often raises issues related to credit card billing addresses, offers discounts restricted to residents of that country instead of those we might be eligible for, and more. Even if it works, we'd rather not do that unless there's no alternative.
Does anyone know what's going on here? Other thoughts? (Not about the trip itself, there are enough threads on that already.)
