Nordic Countries - Stockholm Hotel Recommendations

2 nights next week (Mar 1 & 2) in the "Kista" region of Stockholm. Need a nice hotel recommendation.

There are a few hotel options in or around Kista work area. However, in my and several others opinions they are mostly overpriced. When i worked in Kista, we usually recommended customers to stay in the city at a location near the blue underground line instead. The underground takes you from city to Kista in about 20 minutes and is generally very reliable (even during the snow chaos we have had lately).

Some alternatives in Kista:

Low budget chain IBIS (a bit off from Kista, like 10-15 minutes walk, and not really a business hotel):

A good city location with the blue line next door in a very nice area ( i live close to it myself :p ) is Hotel Amaranten:

Excellent choice. Very central location, just take the Arlanda Express into the city. And the entrance to the blue undergrund line is just around the corner.

I haven't stayed at the hotel myself, but i have been in the lobby bar several times. Very nice and classy place!
