Southwest Rapid Rewards - southwest chase visa rapid rewards

I just received an offer from Chase Visa offerring 16 rapid rewards credits after first use, 6 bonus credits for balance transfers, and 2 credits on anniversary date. I will not be transferring any balances. Is this a good deal? How many credits do you need to fly to California and back? What is the difference in the Classic and Signature Cards other than the Annual Fee? thank you.

16 credits = 1 free round trip ticket (to anywhere SW flies).

On the signature card you get double credit with partner purchases, rental cars, hotels, etc. On the classic card, you only get double credit on purchases at SWA.com.

Also, IIRC, you do not get the 2 credits upon renewal with the classic card.

All Visa Signature cards have a few other benefits. Recently there was a 25% discount offer on some Hilton stays if paid by a Signature card.

I think they have some low-end concierge services, too.
