Stayed here one night on a PointBreaks rate - good value for 5k, since paid rates were running > 100 US/night.

Pros:
^Close to the airport and a good selection of chain restaurants within walking distance
^Shuttle picks up from both sides of the terminal (A and B)
^Although not advertised on the website, internet access was complimentary for Priority Club members (even non-elites like me)
^Free parking (outdoor)

Cons:
:td:Although spacious, the room was on the dumpy side. Bathroom had a moldy tub and toilet tank that kept running (had to jiggle the handle each time)
:td:Room overlooked the atrium, which had the lights on all night. Curtains did not close all the way, so had trouble sleeping.

Tip: Orlando Airport doesn't have good directions as to where hotel shuttles pick up. Most of the ground transportation spots are for Disney shuttles or Mears airport shuttles. Definitely ask an airport rep for directions instead of wandering around like I did.

Agreed. The MCP CP is a once-nice hotel gone dumpy. In some cases real dumpy and well below the level expected at a CP.

The executive lounge is ok but the food is ridiculous. The evening reception 100 percent of the time I have been there (and we are talking quite a few stays) has been fried mushrooms, and that's it aside from beverages.

The breakfast is just oatmeal. That's nice, but I can get that at Hampton Inn, and served with much more to go with it.

Female guests beware: theree is a distinct bias against you. I have noticed standing right next to a male guest that females are not given the parking pass when a male has, (and then argued with when it is requested. The next morning, you receive a parking ticket from the hotel), not given breakfast coupons when warranted just after a male has received them, and not given their Platinum upgrade. I have communicated with hotel management about their discrimination and they told me to "get lost." I did, I moved my business to the Four Points which I recommend 100 percent.
