Gaming Loyalty Programs - status match for TR Diamond

can I get any status in Venetian Grazie program or any other LV program by status match?

Will only get you Gold in Grazie program.

I tried searching "status match" but didn't yeild any other results.

I have been a TR Diamond for sometime now and didn't realize I can do a status match at other properties. How do you go upon doing this at Grazie? Just show them your Diamond card and they will give you a Gold card? Does MGM do a status match too? Thanks and good luck to you all.

Yes, you can do this at Grazie. When you sign up, you tell the clerk that you are Diamond at Harrahs, and you want to status match (show Diamond card). They will make you wait and wait and wait because a supervisor has to approve it.

So, you finally get it, and then you play and play and play. Depending on how much you play (and what denomination,etc), the Gold status ends sooner - or later.

We did this last year, and 6 months later we continue to receive monthly slot tournaments, room offers, etc. All have free play and food. Some of the food offers have been quite good - complete meals at Steakhouse, Asian, etc.

Worth it - yes. If you love the V rooms, great. We are not that thrilled - we actually prefer Harrah's, and have not been back to the V to take advantage.

I know of no other status matches in Las Vegas. We are Emerald at Coasts and Platinum at Stations, but I have never heard of status match at either one. (We are tourists, not locals.)

Thanks for the reply. Very helpful. My last question is what if I am a current Grazie member? They give me some free rooms, etc already but I am on the lowest level because I barely play. Will they still upgrade me?

well I have Venetian/Grazie gold, so my question would be if Harrahs would status match?
