Best Western Rewards - GCC thanks me for being a frequent guest at a hotel I've never stayed at - concerns?

I got an email supposedly from the staff of a BW in New Jersey thanking me for being a frequent guest and offering a spring promo. Should I be concerned, given that I've never stayed there (and haven't stayed in a BW anywhere in the past year)?

I just had the same thing happen - Fort Lee, NJ. Never stayed there in my life, yet it states I stay there frequently. Checked my account and no activity..... would love an explanation.

My only concern would be explaining it to a suspicious spouse :D

As I'm Canadian based.....from time to time BW gets US accts mixed up some how ? Keying errors?. You have to watch your acct as they give me someone else US acct point from time to time and I have to call....Yes get them reversed....hope someone would do the same for me but I've never had that problem yet. Although ID theft is so common always best to challenge irregularities
